This is what I like about Altair- his look is consistent. It varies, yes, but he doesn't have scars and beauty marks moving around his face like he's morphing into another person- like WTF EZIO!? One minute the man has a clean shaven face, the next he's all like, "What's that above my upper lip?" Now it could be because time has passed and all the events lead him to being more rugged.... Same with the scar. MAYBE he receives it later on... I don't know. What I DO know is that there is no way for Ezio to have the technology to remove his beauty marks- I've seen at least TWO in the trailer, but they disappear on promotional pictures, like the ones that have him up really close. There's nothing there- just nice, smooth skin. Perhaps Ezio isn't human? Hmmm.... Must investigate further.

EDIT: Maybe he wears makeup. LULZ.
